CARESTL HEALTH is a non-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving St. Louis communities and school-based operations.POSITION SUMMARY: The Finance Analyst Assistant supports the Chief Financial Officer and the finance department in accounting and revenue cycle management. The Finance Analyst Assistant performs a variety of professional staff work of moderate complexity related to the analysis of financial and budgetary data and financial planning also performing a variety of professional administrative staff duties of moderate complexity.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:The following information is considered the definition of essential functions but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. The Financial Analyst Assistant may be reassigned duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staffing reasons.
  • Develop, and maintain financial models/applications (VBA Excel/Access) to automate and streamline business processes and perform financial analysis.
  • Gather, compiles, verifies, analyzes, and correlates financial data and prepares reports in graphic, pictorial, tabular, written and oral form.
  • Prepare presentations for Board of Director and Finance Committee meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
  • Oversee invoicing, reporting and compliance with Federal and non-Federal grants and contracts.
  • Serve as Assistant to CFO in maintaining schedule, travel arrangements, and managing special projects.
OTHER DUTIES:
  • Develop and edit visual presentations utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Collaborate with random levels of management and field representatives to gather feedback and share actual statistics via PowerPoint presentations.
  • Manage project team meetings using Outlook calendars.
  • Prepares reports, presentations, and correspondence containing descriptive, analytical, and evaluative content related to budgetary and financial management.
  • May oversee maintenance of business, financial, and budgeting records
  • Assist management with evaluation of restructuring alternatives, procurement of financing, negotiations with multiple constituencies and issuance of new securities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Education:
  • Associate Degree in finance, accounting, economics, public administration, business administration, or a closely related field
Experience:
  • 1-2 years experience in in finance, accounting, economics, public administration, business administration, or a closely related field
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
  • Good oral and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational and self-motivational skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis software.
  • Experience in statistical modeling.
  • Knowledge of database management systems.
  • Knowledge of accounting concepts, techniques, principles, and methods of budget preparation and analysis
Transportation Requirement:
  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
