- Manage the Marketing Automation Platform for the purpose of customer onboarding, cross-sell and retention.
- Build and grow email prospect list through organic efforts and bank events/sponsorships.
- Drive the design, development, implementation and evaluation of automated marketing campaigns.
- Identify different segmentation criteria based on audience demographic, geographic, transactional and behavioral characteristics.
- Conduct A/B testing of campaigns and landing pages to optimize performance.
- Plan, implement, manage and monitor the bank's social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement and improve marketing efforts.
- Oversee and maintain written Institutional Use Policy and Social Media procedures to ensure adequate risk protection for the bank.
- Prepare departmental purchase requests and invoices.
- Work with purchasing department and third party vendors to provide artwork and/or design specifications that ensure accuracy in delivery of print and promotional items.
- Work with Marketing Director to implement and manage a project and workflow process and tracking system which will improve efficiencies of the marketing team.
- Responsible for buying and managing the print advertising from ad placement to ad production in newspapers, directories, etc.
- Manage relationships with various vendors for initiatives, including but not limited to sports, school and church sponsorships.
- Develop and guide a year-long guerilla marketing plan that includes strategies and timelines to increase awareness of the Hills Bank brand across our service area.
- Responsible for oversight and coordination of retail marketing events including, but not limited to, Ag Month/Barnyard Days, Lemon Boss program, etc.
- Ensure all marketing initiatives meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Develop methods for measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- As part of the overall team of bank employees, this position may be requested to assist in the support of other bank activities.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, preferably in the field of marketing, content marketing, digital marketing or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing or advertising, event planning, project management or other related area.
- Attention to detail is a must; experience with project management software is preferred.
- This job requires skills needed in a typical office environment. This includes computer skills, communications skills, as well as utilization of office equipment. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, PhotoShop and project tracking software is preferred.
