- Lead network services from design through implementation, maintenance and sustainment.
- Guide and Perform daily LAN/CAN/WAN network administration duties.
- Provide resolution of Tier 3 network issues/outages and help-desk trouble tickets.
- Coordinate with end-customer to schedule network conversions and cutovers.
- Provide input to, and respond to, end-customer requirements in support of modernization efforts and performance enhancements.
- Leverage knowledge of the following network services to ensure stable operations throughout the enterprise:
- Network monitoring tools, troubleshooting methods, performance optimization and reporting
- Wireless connectivity, video conferencing and IP-based voice solutions
- Network protocols (implementation and configuration)
- Load balancing and WAN acceleration solutions
- Assist in establishing and adhering to standard processes and documentation.
- Maintain security posture through device and firmware upgrades of network components.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.Working Conditions:

- Related Bachelor's and 12 or more years of related experience; or HS Diploma and 18 or more years of related experience.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Associate's, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for additional years of experience.
- Related certifications may count towards years of related experience.
- Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- Current TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph required.
- Current Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) certification or higher is required.
- Current CompTIA SEC+, CCNA-Security certification or IAT-L3 is required.
- Experience with Cisco routers and switches is required.
- Experience with Arista and/or Juniper devices is desired.
- Experience with VLANs, VPNs and routing protocols is desired.
- Experience with using Wireshark for raw packet analysis is desired.
- Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls a bonus.
- Cisco Unified Collaboration Infrastructure and Technologies including CUCM, Cisco IP Phones, Unity Connection, Jabber, Video Conferencing a bonus.
- Experience with voice signaling and call control protocols a bonus.
- Python/shell scripting experience desired.
