Makowsky Ringel Greenberg, LLC is currently accepting applications for an experienced Maintenance Technician for the Foxhaven and Rocky Creek apartment communities in Southaven, Mississippi. This position's regular work schedule is Monday through Friday may include overtime as needed. The candidate should display strong organizational and customer service skills. The candidate must be able to manage time well and work unsupervised.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
  • Appliance repairs
  • Plumbing repairs
  • Electrical repairs
  • Install, repair, and rekey locks
  • Move and install appliances
  • Routine preventive maintenance
  • Preparing apartments for move-ins
  • Assist other company technicians as needed in troubleshooting and repairs
  • Adhere to company safety policies, including applicable OSHA safety standards
  • Daily documentation of work performed
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
  • Two or more years of apartment maintenance experience
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
  • Physical ability to perform the tasks assigned
  • General knowledge of building codes and laws applicable to maintenance and repair work
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to complete required documentation of work performed on a daily basis
  • Ability to work in both residential and commercial settings
  • Candidates must have their own tools
  • Candidates must have a reliable vehicle suitable for maintenance work
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Must pass credit check, background check, and drug screening
