
Regional Vice President of Operations & Sales (Senior Living)

- Lead all operational aspects of a multi-state, multi-product portfolio while ensuring compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with Executive Directors to review financials, drive NOI performance, and implement improvement plans when needed
- Develop and execute occupancy strategies in partnership with the RDS and community sales teams
- Maintain a strong understanding of each community’s performance metrics, including census and revenue trends
- Serve as the key operational liaison between Discovery Management Group and capital partners, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication
- Partner with the Regional Director of Sales to drive market positioning, lead conversion, and move-in growth
- Support pricing, promotions, and inventory management tactics to ensure revenue optimization
- Monitor competitive activity across the region and advise on adjustments to remain market-relevant
- Track and report on lead activity, sales efforts, and community-level strategies to ensure alignment with portfolio goals
- Directly supervise all Executive Directors and the RDS within the portfolio
- Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of EDs and sales leaders
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and resident-first leadership across the portfolio
- Coach and mentor teams to maintain compliance, elevate service standards, and exceed financial and satisfaction targets
- Collaborate with Discovery Development Group and Design Concepts teams on capital projects, expansion plans, and brand alignment
- Contribute to system-wide best practices, policy improvements, and innovation pilots as the region expands
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Hospitality, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of multi-site senior living leadership experience, including both operations and sales oversight
- Demonstrated success in improving NOI, occupancy, and resident satisfaction in IL/AL/MC communities
- Ability to travel frequently across the assigned region (estimated 60–70%)
- Strong financial acumen, people leadership, and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills
- Self-starter with the ability to build structure in a newly formed regional model
- Industry credibility and experience working directly with capital partners (preferred)
