Are you a skilled CNC or Manual Machinist looking to join an exciting and growing company?We are seeking someone like you to maintain our CNC milling area and perform a variety of essential tasks! In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in reading blueprints, interpreting dimensional data, and understanding geometric dimensions and tolerances.**Key Responsibilities: **- Manage machines and their processes to enhance throughput and quality.
- Conduct quality checks on parts to ensure they meet tolerance specifications.
- Maintain machines according to a set schedule.
- Perform machine setups to prepare for production runs.
- Oversee orders from start to finish while meeting deadlines.**Job Requirements: **- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Proficiency in using a tape measure
- Strong math skills, including algebra and geometry
- Ability to use calipers and micrometers
- Capability to read measurements down to ten-thousandths
- Experience operating a CNC mill and running parts
- Proficient in programming (G-Code, Mazatrol, Conversational: [Siemens, CELOS])
- Ability to inspect and ensure the quality of parts
- Skilled in designing and creating repeatable and efficient setups**Preferred Qualifications (not required): **- Experience driving and operating a forklift
- Experience with a jib crane
- Knowledge and experience with DMG MORI 3+2 CNC mills
- Knowledge and experience with Mazak 3-axis CNC mills
- Experience with CNC lathes featuring a C-axis
- Experience with manual mills and lathes
- Experience with manual lathes**Location: ** LaPorte, IN

**Salary: ** $28 - $35 per hour, depending on experience
