This exciting opportunity will work closely with our accounting team to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the company’s financial records in accordance with accounting principles.   • Manage and mentor GL Accountants
  • Perform primary review of journal entries and account reconciliations associated with the monthly and quarterly close process.
  • Lead month-end closing
  • Point of contact for SME level knowledge of Epicor.
  • Reconcile bank account
  • Maintain tax exemption certificates.
  • Maintain information necessary to perform annual 1099 reporting.
  • Assist in developing and implementing process and system improvements in the accounting function.
  • Support various ongoing projects throughout the year.
  • Partner with external auditors during interim and year-end audits.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Experience working with external audit firms.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to communicate both orally and written in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
  • Team player with the ability to multi-task between priorities.
  • Ability to work in a professional, fast-paced, high-growth environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in finance or similar field.
  • Experience with Epicor or similar ERP.
  • CPA – public accounting experience
  • Advanced excel.
  • Knowledge of percentage of completion accounting.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Demands:
  • Light office work
  • Hybrid working environment with the ability to be in office a minimum of 3 days per week
Compensation:The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $120,000-$154,000.
