This role offers extensive travel, hands-on impact, and the chance to shape safety culture in a business that powers critical infrastructure.If you're passionate about protecting people and the planet, and thrive in fast-paced field settings, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference.How You’ll Make an ImpactPromote a strong safety and sustainability culture across HV Services field operations.Lead Activity-Based Risk Assessments (ABRAs) and Management of Change processes.Conduct incident investigations and ensure effective follow-up.Manage internal safety audits and workplace inspections.Maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 compliance and certifications.Coordinate emergency preparedness and response training.Prepare and submit environmental reports and regulatory documentation.Collaborate with customer and contractor HSE teams to align policies.Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelinesYour BackgroundCollege diploma or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Environmental Health & Safety or equivalent experience.3–5 years of experience in occupational environmental health & safety.Strong knowledge of provincial and federal HSE laws and standards.Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and COR certification.Proficient in MS Office and digital HSE tools.Willingness to travel up to 80% to urban and remote project sites.Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United StatesMore About UsWe pride ourselves on offering a holistic range of competitive benefits to support your financial, physical and mental wellbeing and personal development.
