- Develop, configure, and maintain EDI/B2B processes and workflows.
- Design, build, and update EDI/B2B maps to support trading partner and internal requirements.
- Deploy tested solutions into production environments.
- Maintain development, testing, and production environments to ensure stability.
- Optimize EDI/B2B tools for performance and reliability.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI/B2B process issues.
- Create and maintain system and process documentation.
- Safeguard the accuracy and integrity of transmitted data.
- Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with other business units and technical teams as needed.
- Provide problem resolution for EDI/B2B-related incidents.
- Participate in testing and implementation of new maps, processes, and applications.
- Support reporting and data analysis requirements.
- Communicate with trading partners to resolve EDI/B2B issues.
- Work with application owners to address integration challenges.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills, including Unix/Linux commands, scripting, Microsoft Office Suite, and tools such as Project or Visio.
- Expert-level understanding of EDI and B2B standards (XML, X12, AS2, FTP/SFTP, HTTP, TCP/IP, encryption, and security protocols).
- Hands-on experience with business process mapping, BPEL, and related technologies.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and apply solutions to business problems.
- Creative problem-solving ability under pressure.
- Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
- Ability to travel occasionally if required.
- Proficiency in Unix-based platforms and Oracle-based applications.
- Experience writing and maintaining shell scripts.
- Bachelors degree in a technical field (preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in EDI and/or B2B integration.
- At least 2 years of experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (or equivalent).
- Proven experience working with large trading partners.
- Customer service experience supporting both internal teams and external partners.
