The ideal candidate will have experience in the Automotive category, and understand the landscape, the language, and the nuance of advertising at the Tier 1 level. This Sales role requires a creative thinker with the ability to look across iHeartMedia’s platforms to recommend the most powerful solutions. You thrive on innovation and building what’s next and are driven by a relentless pursuit of results for your clients, your team, and yourself. You will get to collaborate with experts in marketing, programming, research, data, analytics, podcasting, music, and artist relations as you build new approaches to driving impact. This is not a get-proposal/send-proposal role! Your core KPI is finding big revenue opportunities within auto organizations, developing meaningful partnerships and solutions, creating solid and trusted relationships with client and agency teams, and growing/retaining revenue against your client base.What You'll Do:Responsibilities include:Develop and own Client and Agency relationships with the goal of driving revenue across the iHeart enterprise against your book of business. Opportunity to develop those identified as emerging accounts as well.Evangelize audio within the category with Client and Agency partners and work with iHeart Sales and Marketing leadership to optimize our approach based on marketplace feedback and your perspective.Collaborate with Marketing, Research and Planning teams in the development of proposals and bespoke programs.Maintain close, collaborative relationship with iHeart Client Partnerships/Account Management teams assigned to your programs, maintaining contact and oversight throughout execution and optimization.Coordinate with iHeartMedia divisional Sales contacts as needed in shaping, revising and sell-through of proposals.Formulation and maintenance of Client Account Strategy Plans aimed at growing revenue specific on your accounts; maintain tracking via Salesforce.Be the voice of iHeartMedia category expertise at key client events and industry engagementsPersonal Characteristics:Live and breathe the automotive category with a true passion for discovering innovative solutions in auto Highly motivated to achieve results and contribute to a team’s growth and collective missionNo ego; high level of humility and sense of selfDeeply curious and always seeking to learn morePassion for building relationshipsAbility to be scrappy and isn’t afraid to roll sleeves upComfort navigating the “grey areas” of an evolving auto and audio landscapeOperates with honesty and sound judgmentRelates well to all levels of an organizationHigh level of agility; comfort with ambiguity and constant changeWhat You'll Need:10+ years in media/advertising/sales, 5 – 7+ years of experience working in the automotive space, leading and designing strategy, and driving measurable results with Client and Agency partners across all levels.Experience in presenting strategic marketing plans and programs to high-level executives.
