Lead Product Designer, AIWorking at AtlassianAtlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. Reporting to the Senior Design Manager, AI, you'll work on on AI experiences across all of Atlassian, including Rovo, our flagship AI experience. Our team is primarily based in Australia and the west coast of North America.What you'll do:Craft AI experiences for Rovo, our flagship AI product experienceCollaborate across the Atlassian app portfolio, such as Jira, Confluence, and Loom, on applied AIBe the example of designing AI with AI and enable the design organization on harnessing the power of AI for ourselvesPartner with leadership, stakeholders, cross-functional teams to create a unified view of AI capabilities across AtlassianCollaborate with some of the industry's smartest (and nicest) people. You'll work with Engineers, Product Managers, Content Designers, Researchers, Marketing Experts, and Analysts to advocate for the user experience in our products and ship high-quality workYour background7+ years of product design experience designing complex or enterprise-level softwarePrevious experience in applied AI on product experiences such as Search, AI Chat, and AgentsExperience balancing customer needs with business goals, market viability, and technical feasibilityCraft and systems thinker-you can demonstrate the ability to integrate the work of multiple teams, solicit and synthesize feedback, and facilitate design discussions that lead company wide outcomesExperience improving process and methodology to increase product value, team velocity and accelerate adoption of new capabilitiesCompensationAt Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:Zone A: $189,000 - $246,750Zone B: $170,100 - $222,075Zone C: $157,500 - $205,625This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.Please visit for more information on which locations are included in each of our geographic pay zones.
