The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence.Lockheed Martin is looking for a highly motivated Systems Integration and Test Engineer to become a member of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team (SEIT).This position is a unique and awesome opportunity to be the System Integration and Test Engineer responsible for coordination and development of a new test program for the next generation of FBM hardware.As a Systems Integration and Test Engineer, you will:
  • Support requirements definition for new labs and missile tests, development of an Integrated Test Program Plan, and various levels of involvement in test execution.
  • Perform systems hardware/software integration, test planning, and execution
  • Support the development of products needed to conduct missile hardware/software testing at factory and the launch sites
  • Support the generation of system test requirements
  • Have excellent organization and troubleshooting skills and be proficient in understanding hardware/software design, requirements generation, product development, test execution, and verification activities
YOU WILL TYPICALLY HAVE:
  • 2+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 0 years with a MS degree (must meet all Basic Qualifications)
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience with one or more Systems Integration functions including:
a.) System trade studies and/or System modeling
b.) Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
c.) System Integration, Test and/or Verification
d.) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
  • Experience or familiarity with testing and problem solving for integrated systems
  • Active Top Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required
Desired skills
  • Experience in Space Vehicle (SV) Test Operations including the test development process, test execution, data analysis, anomaly resolution, and electrical ground test equipment
  • Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
  • Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
  • Master's Degree in Systems Engineering, INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate
