- Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas (including but not limited to hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard toe and slip/oil resistant shoes, appropriate safety gloves, and seatbelts while operating forklifts)
- Possess a complete understanding of SQF, responsible for Food Safety /Food Quality and the responsibility to act when notified or gains awareness of any Food Safety or Food Quality issue. Ensure that standards are in accordance with FDA, USDA, Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, and all other governmental polices procedures, and regulations.
- Ability to acquire an in-depth, operational knowledge of assigned functions, equipment, processes, policies and procedures.
- Following standard operating procedures and reading both imperial and metric measurements, perform changeovers efficiently and carefully, ensuring the correct settings and parts are installed and that no mechanical defects exist that could damage equipment or product.
- Record all necessary training documentation and ensure employees are fully and completely trained prior recommending wage increases under the CSD Process.
- Provides training and cross training in areas of machine operation, product changeovers, and autonomous maintenance programs (CIL’s) of equipment and materials in a food production/packaging environment.
- Support and assist all line changeovers from a technical and training perspective per production schedule.
- Ensure the completion of the completion of the daily, weekly, and monthly CIL’s.
- Ability to create, write and maintain clear and effective procedural documentation
- Manage the organization, cleanliness, and maintenance of all change parts.
- Supports maintenance of operating equipment and machinery necessary to meet production requirements in an efficient and safe manner. Assess and report machinery needs to keep at OEM baseline condition.
- Establish center-lining parameters of equipment and products. Establish programs to control and improve processes.
- Identify and facilitate training in areas of equipment operation and changeovers to assure performance is maximized and product specifications are met.
- Assist maintenance to investigate and diagnose production problems in a timely manner.
- Accurate and timely reports of work in process and completes all relevant paperwork and management reporting.
- Work hours will deviate from continental and conventional schedules to include weekends
- Backfill Team Leads who may be out of the facility for various reasons.
- All other projects assigned to by Management.
- Multi-Functional Experience in a Beverage Manufacturing Environment is a plus
- Ability to effectively onboard and train new employees
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

- Safety and Compliance: Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, enforcement of safety protocols and training of team members on safety measures. Timely and accurately completes monthly Alchemy training.
- Communication Skills – Effective verbal and written communication with team members and supervisors, reporting issues accurately, and collaborating to ensure smooth workflow. Follows equipment down-time escalation process schedule.
- Training and Development: Ability to train new hires in production processes and procedures and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for existing team members. Foster skill development and career growth.
- High School Certification or equivalent (GED)
- 3-5 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1-3 years of lead experience
- Work Schedule: Weekdays, weekends, afternoon, evenings, overnight and holidays may be required. Overtime scheduled as needed.
- Work Environment: Operating in a fast-paced production plant with numerous moving parts. Noise levels require hearing protection and temperatures can get very hot and/or relatively cold. The environment is structured and supervised, with clear production targets and schedules to meet.
