
Client Account Manager- Sound Transit

- Fully accountable for all business development activities with Sound Transit.
- Represent AECOM and serve a point of contact with Sound Transit Leadership.
- Review and understand AECOM's obligations on current Sound Transit contracts. Works with Regional Business Line Leader and operations team to facilitate successful project delivery, including rate negotiations strategy.
- Manage the AECOM Sound Transit Client Account Team. Set strategic direction to business development with Sound Transit.
- Regularly meet with staff from multiple levels of Sound Transit to obtain feedback on AECOM's performance, understand and serve needs, and proactively identify opportunities.
- Position AECOM for pursuits and promote AECOM capabilities in front of the client.
- Leads preparation of Client Account Plan, coach pursuit teams in the development of winning Opportunity Capture Plans and coordinate resources with Marketing Lead. May serve as capture manager for Enterprise Critical Pursuits.
- Develop and execute pursuit strategies to increase market share across Sound Transit's pipeline of opportunities and coordinates pursuits among different disciplines.
- Monitor client satisfaction and addresses performance issues.
- Ensure Sound Transit continues to be a sustainable source of repeat business.
- Work with Regional Business Line Leader and Director of Growth for West Coast, Division Managers, and Pacific Northwest Business Development Leader on development of sales, strategies and opportunities.
- Develop and executes a Sound Transit focused conference plan. Maintain a high profile with Sound Transit and transportation industry. Attend conferences and workshops to strengthen existing Sound Transit relationships and establish new Sound Transit relationships.
- Has a keen understanding of industry trends and market drivers.
- Provides leadership in recruiting, training, and retaining top talent for Sound Transit opportunities and projects.
- Bachelor's degree in business, planning, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- 10 years of professional experience in transportation industry.
- Experience in business development, and strong existing relationships with Sound Transit.
- Existing relationships within the transportation community in the Seattle region, and active involvement in relevant professional organizations.
- Demonstrated success in leading and wining proposals with Sound Transit.
- Team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of best practices in capture process for professional services.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
- Leadership position with Sound Transit or Sound Transit as a client.
