This unique opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who thrives in both clinical care and leadership , and is passionate about making a lasting impact on veterinary teams and the communities they serve.About the RoleWhether you're an Associate DVM ready to grow into a regional leadership role or an experienced veterinarian seeking to influence a broader team, this role offers a rewarding combination of clinical engagement and operational strategy .You’ll split your time between hands-on clinical work and leadership activities—mentoring DVMs, driving performance improvements, and helping shape the direction of multiple hospitals in the region.Key ResponsibilitiesChampion Clinical ExcellenceProvide top-tier veterinary care, dedicating 75–100% of your time to direct patient care .Perform surgeries, consult with clients, and build your own clientele.Guide DVMs through case consultations , especially new grads needing support in surgery and dentistry .Drive clinical process improvements that boost efficiency and client satisfaction.Foster a Positive Veterinary CommunityCollaborate with the Regional Director to cultivate a supportive, positive work culture .Assist in DVM recruitment , working alongside the Talent Relations team to build high-performing teams.Mentor new graduate veterinarians to promote long-term success and retention.Drive Operational SuccessOptimize hospital efficiency, staffing, and scheduling .Analyze hospital performance metrics and assist with budgeting and resource allocation .Ensure smooth hospital flow and foster a collaborative team environment.Ensure Compliance and QualityConduct hospital inspections and enforce high standards of quality assurance .Oversee regulatory compliance , including maintaining DEA logs and adherence to veterinary medical regulations.What You BringDVM/VMD degree or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited institution.Active veterinary license in Florida (or ability to obtain).3–5 years of clinical experience.DEA license (if required).Proven leadership skills with a collaborative mindset and the ability to mentor and inspire others .Willingness to travel regionally (expenses covered).Time Allocation & Work Schedule75–100% clinical focus with dedicated time for mentorship, recruitment, compliance, and hospital strategy.4-day work week with production-based earning potential —your clinical impact directly influences your compensation.Benefits & PerksFlexible compensation (Salary or ProSal structure).Paid travel and housing when visiting regional locations.Comprehensive healthcare : Medical, dental, and vision.Generous PTO : 3 weeks paid time off, 6 weeks of paid parental leave .401(k) with employer match .Paid CE days + generous continuing education allowance .Covered state licensing fees and professional dues .PLIT (Professional Liability Insurance) included.Short-term & long-term disability insurance , life insurance .Veterinary care discounts for personal pets.Ongoing mentorship and access to a DVM-only communication network for peer discussions and case sharing.About the OrganizationThis hospital group is part of a growing veterinary family with over 200 hospitals nationwide .
