- Blind Low Vision Teacher for a public school district. Caseload size of less than 20.
- Provide instruction that addresses each student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals and State standards.
- Assess and document student progress and report progress to parents via IEP updates.
- Provide support for students to ensure health, safety, and welfare.
- Lead professional learning for BLV student needs.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in education/special education.
- Teaching license through the State of Indiana.
- Specialized and current knowledge of the subject matter to be taught and the techniques used in the area of specialization.
- Ability to show competency in vision/hearing-specific skills commensurate with the grade level in which the teacher is instructing.
