- Performs a variety of complicated tasks with minimal supervision.
- Writes technical documentations and specifications.
- Documents results and conclusions and incorporates findings into formal specifications and instructions.
- Participates in establishing operating procedures or best-known methods.
- Recommends and implements innovative solutions based on proven best practices.
- Provides technical consultation to others. Contributes to technical project teams.
- Lead and/or support root cause investigations.
- Interface effectively with the Honeywell-Phoenix Engineering team and ANAD personnel.
- Work “hands on” in a shop environment on engines and components.
- Must be a US citizen to obtain clearance to work on post.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline from an ABET university. Aerospace or mechanical engineering discipline preferred
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance is required to access military installations.
- Experience with instrumentation and controls relating to aerospace test facilities and turbine engine controls evaluation.
- Knowledge of instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
- Understanding of hydromechanical control systems.
