Job Title: U.S. Trade Operations SpecialistLocation: Hybrid in Los Angeles, CA or Columbus, OH or VirtualJob Type: Full-Time, Six-Month Contract (with opportunity for contract extension)Overview:We are looking for a highly skilled U.S. Trade Operations Specialist to join our dynamic North America Trade Operations Team on a six-month contract basis, with the potential for extension. The primary focus of this new position will be to review/audit the growing number of U.S. entries to ensure compliance with trade regulations. This fast-paced role will involve both automated validations through the Entry Management (EM) solution and manual processes for verifying entries related to reciprocal tariffs (5-digit) and new eCommerce filings.Key Responsibilities:- Review and validate U.S. entries (integrated) for compliance with trade regulations using the Entry Management (EM) solution for automated validations.- Perform manual reviews of entries (non-integrated) established with Trade Optimization to ensure accurate validation of reciprocal tariffs and new eCommerce entries filed by metro areas.- Validate entries for the completion of entry package requirements, ensuring that all required documentation and data are present and accurate.- Flag any corrections needed prior to the statement date and address these issues with the customs broker for resubmission to the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).- Manage a growing number of U.S. Customs Broker Exceptions through the Trade Partner Relationship Management (TPRM) solution, powered by Salesforce, particularly in light of de minimis elimination.- Address escalations within the shipment document handover process to ensure timely and accurate resolution of issues among vendors, Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), and Customs Brokers.- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to maintain strong trade compliance and operational efficiency.- Stay informed about changes in trade policies, standards, and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance and operational effectiveness.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.- Prior experience in Customs Broker Management and Entry Management is required.- A US Customs Broker License is a plus.- Strong understanding of U.S. trade compliance regulations, entry processes, and tariff structures.- Ability to review and interpret policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines accurately.- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail to ensure high accuracy in entry validations.- Proven capability to operate with a high degree of autonomy while executing daily trade operations responsibilities.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address escalations effectively.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams.- Proficiency in trade management software, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite.Required Skills : OperationsBasic Qualification :Additional Skills :This is a high PRIORITY requisition.
