  • Work as Senior Front-End Software Engineer.
  • Consider wider computer systems architecture and design a feature to deliver to the customer requirements.
  • Work with the Product Owner, designers, and other senior engineers to bring new features to life for customers.
  • Work on front-end solutions in REACT or Angular in an Agile team. Resolve complex bugs for ARINC Direct Flight Planning software sold directly to Business Aviation customers.
  • Help steer the team in what quality code should look like in terms of continuous delivery.
  • Carry out code reviews for peers and more junior engineers and act as a mentor for junior team members to help constructively progress their skills.
  • Learn to deliver new complex software features to customers in alignment with product roadmaps.
  • Learn about modern technology stacks and become more knowledgeable in the connected aviation ecosystem.
  • Learn how to deliver in a Scaled Agile environment.
Required Qualifications:
  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive experience in a Software Engineering position. In the alternative, a master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in a Software Engineering position would be acceptable.
  • At least 3 years of experience with writing clear and high-performance code in Front end technologies such as REACT or ANGULAR;
  • At least 2 years of experience with AGILE and GITLAB;
  • At least 2 of experience writing unit tests and working on backlog refinements, sprint reviews, and sprint planning; and
  • At least 1 year of experience mentoring junior engineers.
The salary range for this position is $127,046.00 to $176,000.00 per year. This is the correct compensation range. Please disregard any additional verbiage noted below pertaining to the salary range.The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
