Guided by our values of integrity, respect, accountability and excellence, we use leading science and technology to move fiber-based packaging forward.We are currently seeking Machine Operator for our Cleveland, OH Plant.Shift: Days, Monday - Thursday, 6 am - 4 pm ESTPay: $19.99/hr during probationary period. 1st Pay increase after 60 days, will bump up to $25 - $26/hr.Medical/Dental/Vision: Starts on Day 1!401k: Starts on Day 1!Vacation: 2 weeks per year. 1st year prorated to start date.PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Follow all safety rules and practices.
  • Follow line clearing procedure.
  • Ability to follow the operators instructions.
  • Set the knifes & scores according to production spec.
  • Set pull collars.
  • Set the load former.
  • Perform machine set up tasks as directed by the production spec.
  • Ability to understand a 2-color print spec.
  • Remove and mount cutting dies and print plates using the 2 people lift when needed.
  • Recover and add inks, check viscosity and Ph levels and perform wash outs as needed.
  • Ability to set up the feeder and feed end of machine.
  • Completing paperwork and input computer data.
  • After machine is set up assist operator as needed.
  • Use of available time to prepare machine for next set up.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by a Supervisor, Superintendent or Production Manager.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Standing up to 12 hours per day and walking to and from various machines and locations throughout the facility.
  • Ability to grasp objects with hands and fingers.
  • Ability to repetitively bend and twist at trunk level.
  • Ability to crouch and/or kneel when required.
  • Ability to navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend and kneel thorough the entire shift.
What you need to succeed:
  • Must have Machine Operator experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
  • 2 years of manufacturing experience in the last 5 years.
  • Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions and other duties as assigned.
  • Must possess strong computer skills and apply use of technology in the workplace.
  • Comply with all safety regulations. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Possess excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and effectively basic math
  • Ability to deal with other employees and management in a courteous, tactful, and patient manner.
