And we do it all with heart, each and every day.Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Parsipanny, NJ: Staff Software Development Engineer to design and develop enterprise software applications and platforms. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; develop and deploy application components, and support unit testing and bug fixes; participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; and collaborate with crossfunctional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices.- Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires four (4) years of experience in each of the following:
  • CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps;
  • XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript;
  • REST, SOAP, or web services APIs;
  • Objective C, Swift, Swift UI, or Java;
  • Agile methodologies;
  • Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases;
  • Software development for enterprise or mobile applications;
  • Large-scale application development, data science, or data analytics projects;
  • Writing clean, high quality, high performing, scalable code; and
  • Testing, quality analysis, or troubleshooting.
Pay Range: $179982.00/year to $260000.00/year.This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
