- Develop and execute global category strategies aligned with business goals and supply requirements.
- Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Lead supplier selection and contract negotiations through to final approval.
- Conduct total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Perform market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in contract manufacturing.
- Mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, financial, and operational factors.
- Develop contingency and dual sourcing plans for critical components and services.
- Drive supplier development to improve quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Implement supplier scorecards and lead performance reviews.
- Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory, environmental, and ethical standards.
- Support sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives.
- Leverage SAP and other technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a regulated environment; medical device experience preferred.
- 7 years of experience with MRP, DRP, ERP systems (SAP or similar), including forecasting and inventory management.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in category management, procurement, or supply chain roles.
- Experience in supplier relationship management (SRM).
- Proficiency in market research tools and techniques.
- Effective project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in manufacturing or related industries is preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 10%, including internationally.
- Master’s degree.
- Background in the medical device or related industry.
