- In this exciting new role, you will be working with a team to bring high quality design to life. This position will involve all aspects of structural engineering building design working on awesome projects with the best clients.
- Analyze and design of building's structural gravity and lateral systems with and in coordination of more senior engineers and in accordance with current code requirements and accepted engineering standards using both manual and computer methods.
- Interfacing and communicating with clients and other professionals, including coordination of drawings with architects and other consultants.
- Provide REVIT assistance on projects
- Perform construction administration related duties such as site visits, review shop drawings, and respond to RFIs. Assist in the development of technical solutions for field issues.
- Thorough knowledge of structural engineering principles and methods required to plan, design, and detail the structural systems of buildings and other structures.
- Advanced computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Blue Beam, and other relevant software required.
- Proficient use in the use of RAM, RISA, and ETABS and other analysis and design software.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering from ABET accredited University, required.
- 5 years of experience in design and preparation of construction documents of building structural systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License or Structural Engineer (SE) License required.
