to learn more about why we work at Lockheed Martin!Who You AreYou'll perform as a Global Supply Chain, Category Management, ManagerWhat You Will Be DoingYou'll lead a multifunctional subcontract management team for our Advanced Development Programs. This role require daily engagement with the Program Office, Engineering, Logistics, Business Management, Finance, Contracts, as well as with the supply base. You will hold procurement delegation and may sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. You'll drive performance and accountability from the buyers, ensuring they have the proper tools, skillsets, and support to be successful. You will work with multiple suppliers of highly specialized subsystems for classified programs and will review work for compliance, provide guidance to the team throughout the procurement process and lifecycle, and assist with larger challenges and projects for the betterment of the supply chain team and programs.
You will also use your extensive knowledge base of acquisition policies and procedures (associated knowledge of FAR / DFAR requirements) and will be required to work on-site full time from Palmdale.What's In It For YouWe offer flexible work schedules and comprehensive benefits investing in your future and security,

You must be a US Citizen and possess an Active Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this roleAeroSCMBasic QualificationsExperienced supply chain management professional who has led complex US DoD subcontract teamsProficient in FFP, CPFF, CPIF & T&M contract types, and the impact of executed decisionsExperienced with Purchase Order (PO) negotiations to include: solving complex challenges associated with subcontract executionExperience leading teams or projects, and mentoring peers & subordinates on how to procure and manage subcontractsExperience collaborating and communicating
