DescriptionWe are hiring a Web Developer I who will be responsible for analyzing, developing, testing, and implementing code in a Episys/Symitar environment for new or existing software, programs, products and reports to solve identified business needs and user requests. Troubleshoot existing code to look for resolution while taking the opportunity to streamline and improve where applicable. Manage, develop, and support the eServices products including online banking, mobile banking and ancillary systems and platforms.   • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of progressive software development experience in a Windows and Episys environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree or relevant experience.
  • Possess industry certifications.
  • Practical working knowledge of Episys, Microsoft SQL, personal computing systems, Microsoft Office, and network operating systems.
  • Applied knowledge of RepGen, PowerOn, SymForm, SQL, HTML, CSS, .NET, scripting languages and online/mobile banking platform knowledge.
  • Applied knowledge of change management procedures and the Software Development Life Cycle including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Must meet all mandatory annual training requirements as applicable to this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyze, develop, test, and implement code in the Symitar environment including RepGen using PowerOn and other coding tools to create, troubleshoot or repair new applications, products, functionality, create reports/extracts and user input teller screens. Analyze and maintain code for ease of processing to increase efficiency and automation.
  • Provide help desk support by phone, in person or using the help desk ticketing system.
  • Maintain and support the Symitar daily computer operations environment for space monitoring, secured FTP of critical files and production jobs, work to complete critical operations daily, monthly checklist of critical production jobs, work in troubleshooting production issues and escalate issues to the Senior Developer or Management, Document detailed program specifications and logic flow charts for use in coding and documenting Symitar features, applications, programs and PowerOn work.
  • Test and participate in code reviews for learning and perform production deployments to production in dual control for proper controls of segregation of duties. Submit all output work for quality assurance testing and perform troubleshooting as deemed necessary.
  • Provide operational and on-call rotation support as required in a 24/7 environment.
  • Ensure the highest level of support through proactive problem ownership and management, and adherence to change management standards.
  • Ensure timely communication and resolution of issues/tickets to stated SLA's and escalate to appropriate personnel as required.
  • Demonstrate critical evaluation skills and the ability, initiative, and drive to perform root cause analysis in order to proactively avoid outages and downtime.
  • Provide back-end and front-line support during all service impacting outages.
  • Complete understanding and active application the Exceptional Experience Guide expectations.
  • Must be able and available to work a “hybrid” schedule, per business operations requirement, as needed.
