Number12473SharemoreThe ILS Specialist plays vital role in compiling crucial system data to inform supply chain decisions and planning, as well as compiling status reports for stakeholders in support of a highly technical and fast-paced communications industry. This position requires a blend of organizational skills, technical knowledge, and attention to detail to support the ongoing delivery and service of critical infrastructure systems. In support of our overall ILS program, the ILS Specialist is responsible for managing data sets obtained from system service records, system production data, and product reliability information, extracting pertinent information to fulfil reporting activities on reliability, failure mode analysis, and supply chain management tasks to support our ATC program.Your tasks
  • Support ILS Manager for data collection, analysis, and presentation on program deliverables
  • Support data entry, collection, analysis, and reporting for activities related to FRACAS data
  • Support data entry, collection, analysis, and reporting for DMSMS activities and program needs
  • Support collaboration with cross-functional teams as needed to support ILS-related activities for the program, including interfacing with R&S counterparts (as well as engineering, production, quality department, etc) within the global organization
  • Work cross-functionally within the organization to design and implement process and tools for Service and Logistics deliverables

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or comparable course of study, or Associates degree in similar disciplines plus commensurate work experience
  • 2 years or more experience in an analyst role compiling reports to support broader programmatic needs, preferably in an existing ILS related role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for tracking and reporting
  • Excellent and effective communication ability, comfortable with changing organizational needs, highly engaged in program success
  • Support typical 40 hour work week, with ability to flex overtime schedule as needed depending on program requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 15% (for onsite meetings if working remote, eg)
  • Ability to support early morning or later evening meetings depending upon time zone
  • Within commute distance of Columbia, MD and Frederick, MD.

Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level.
