
Area Sales Representative

- Responsible for building relationships with potential referral sources for Key Rehab, MDS Solutions, and GeroPsych.
- Responsible for preparing proposals and/or quotes for services for potential clients in assigned territory.
- Responsible for generating a pipeline of potential customers to help balance the variability of contracts.
- Responsible for supporting & participating in the marketing activities and events for an assigned coverage area with the goal of building relationships and connecting to the provider
- Be the expert and go-to member of the Key Rehab team for potential clients when seeking information on services.
- Responsible for effective promotion of services.
- Attending industry conferences in assigned area. Responsible to obtain leads by engaging with attendees at the booth, attending show events, meeting with attendees 1:1 while on site.
- Following up regularly after trade shows to get in-person meetings and/or move the potential client to the next sales level.
- Works to identify niche service
- Meet with potential clients to sell them on all Key Rehab’s service lines. Provide presentations and/or marketing materials that illustrate the value of services.
- Participates in community organizations as appropriate to promote services.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with course work in sales, marketing, business administration, therapy, nursing or related area.
- Experience in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting within a sales and marketing role is highly preferred
- Knowledge of the long-term care environment, basic understanding of Medicare and state Medicaid structure and how reimbursement affects potential customers.
- Ability to be in the field 80% of the week driving to accounts, events, and meeting with potential clients. Some overnights may be required due to conferences or distance to clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Proficient with basic business applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office products, Google products, and sales tracking applications.
