PAY RATE: $96/hourWe are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.Job Details:Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)Clearance: Secret Clearance required to startShift: Variable; must be available for 24/7 on-call rotation, weekends, and OT as neededIndustry: Aerospace / Defense / AviationBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision (Cigna)Perks: Bonus potential + Priority access via Tier 1 supplierOpenings Nationwide: Thousands of opportunities across the U.S.Qualifying Questions:Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?Summary:Perform structural analysis (static strength, durability/fatigue, damage tolerance) using classical methods and tools.Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements and test plans.Support repair design, service bulletin development, and failure investigations.Provide temporary/permanent repair options while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.Define and document certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies.Lead process improvements, mentor peers, and coordinate across teams.Requirements:Secret Clearance required to startBachelor's degree in Engineering.7+ years of experience in structural analysis.7+ years with structural methods and repair principles (stress analysis, fatigue/corrosion, statics, materials, repair techniques, damage tolerance).Experience with aircraft models.Ability to support variable shifts and 24/7 on-call rotation.Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).Preferred Qualifications:9+ years of related experience or equivalent education.Master's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering.Experience with FAA certification/production or fleet support projects.Strong leadership, mentoring, and collaboration skills.About Us:The Structures Company is a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency specializing in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire placements.
