Network Solution Architect - Cisco - 65525Pay Range - $65 - $75/hrOne of our clients is looking for a Network Solution Architect to join their team remotely with 50% travel to the Washington, DC area.Role Summary: The Solution Architect - Senior works on multiple IT projects as a member of a project team and is responsible for the overall direction, guidance, and definition of an architecture program that supports this organization's Business Strategy. This role assists in developing the future-state architecture, ensuring adoption, and acts as a visionary across business areas. Responsibilities include conceiving strategies, building consensus, executing solutions, and participating in all phases of the project life cycle from kickoff through implementation.Special Skillset:Ensure applications and servers are built with best practices, reusability, and alignment with business needs and Enterprise Architecture standards.Operate on both strategic and tactical levels, providing short-term solutions that complement long-term goals.Serve as a Change Agent, challenging the status quo and embracing improved methods and newer technologies.Present to the Enterprise Architecture Review Council to gain approvals and ensure sustainable services and applications.Deliverables:Formal Conceptual and Solution Architectures, presented to senior staff, business, and the Enterprise Architecture Review Council.Requirements:Bachelor s degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience8 15 years of experience in multiple IT areas and 5 7 years of technology architecture experienceHands-on Network Access Control (NAC) experienceHands-on Cisco ISE experienceHands-on Cisco DNA experiencePreferred:Strong background in architectural modeling, SOA, enterprise information management, and software design/developmentExperience as a Solution Architect for two or more large-scale IT programsProven ability to develop solutions that solve business problemsExperience designing and implementing SOA and enterprise servicesTransportation industry experienceBroad IT networking technologies experienceKnowledge of EA frameworksFor immediate consideration:Ujjal
