As a Lead Assembly Technician, you will build, assemble, and test flow meters. Your role includes the assembly processes for both unit sub assembly and the final integration of unit level assemblies. In addition, you will also be responsible for supporting the other Assembly Technicians, making sure they are working on the most critical jobs according to the Production Schedule and assisting them with any technical question that may arise.   • Assemble products according to Production Job requirements, following Production book instructions.
  • Oversee and support other Production Technicians as needed to make sure they complete jobs on-time and help with any technical issues that may arise, including troubleshooting products.
  • Make sure equipment is functioning properly and helping other staff using the equipment, as necessary.
  • Implementing preventative maintenance methods.
  • Support Manufacturing Engineer in creating new Production books and verifying accuracy of existing books.
  • Support Engineering with product testing.
  • Completing tasks in a timely manner while keeping work area clean and organized, and clearly communicating with other staff.
Position Requirements:
  • High School diploma or similar
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide training
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work overtime when needed
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior leadership skills
Computer Skills:
  • Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Epicor - ERP program where you will clock into jobs.
Working Conditions:
  • Physical Demand(s): Can lift up to 10lbs, sitting and stand for reasonable periods of time
  • Visual Demand(s): Ability to look at a computer monitor for reasonable periods of time. Focusing on small components for extended period of time.
  • Hazard(s): Manufacturing environment.
