By providing patients and internal and external stakeholders with a consistent, efficient, and easy experience, you’ll help ensure that patients at The Oregon Clinic receive the highest value care tailored to their needs.Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this phone-based role include:
  • Manages the TOC-wide Emergency Management Program (EMP), including facilitating the Emergency Management Committee and ensuring annual company-wide risk assessments.
  • Updates EMP policies and procedures, coordinates monthly safety training, and maintains all required documents on the company intranet.
  • Identifies various potential hazards and risks that may arise in the event of an emergency; develops plans to mitigate or manage those risks.
  • Responsible for support and maintenance of TOC’s mass notification system. Utilizes the system when necessary for emergency alerts.
  • Updates records as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned
Salary: Hiring range, based on experience and credentials: $30.30 - $41.00 per hour.Workdays: This role is located at the Central Administration Office. Remote/Hybrid work options are available after training completion and expectations are met. Must live in Portland or SW Washington. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 20 hours per week (Five days a week, 4 hours a day, within the work hours 8:00 am-5:00 pm (can be flexible))Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience, and values, including:
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an emergency management field, such as law enforcement, fire safety, or military service, is strongly preferred.
  • Certification as an Emergency Manager (CEM), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), or related certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of emergency management systems is preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess great interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
  • A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.
