
Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for Central Administration in NE Portland (Part-Time)

- Manages the TOC-wide Emergency Management Program (EMP), including facilitating the Emergency Management Committee and ensuring annual company-wide risk assessments.
- Updates EMP policies and procedures, coordinates monthly safety training, and maintains all required documents on the company intranet.
- Identifies various potential hazards and risks that may arise in the event of an emergency; develops plans to mitigate or manage those risks.
- Responsible for support and maintenance of TOC’s mass notification system. Utilizes the system when necessary for emergency alerts.
- Updates records as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an emergency management field, such as law enforcement, fire safety, or military service, is strongly preferred.
- Certification as an Emergency Manager (CEM), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), or related certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of emergency management systems is preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented and possess great interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
- Excellent attendance and work ethic.
- Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
