
Construction Project Manager (commercial)

- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects, including tenant improvements
- Manage and lead project teams, including subcontractors and in-house personnel
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues or concerns
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and upper management
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Implement and maintain effective communication channels among all project participants
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and develop contingency plans
- Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permits
- Ensure projects adhere to environmental and sustainability guidelines
- Collaborate with the design team to review and approve plans and specifications
- Conduct project close-out activities, including final inspections and documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera)
- Excellent understanding of construction contracts and legal requirements
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with LEED certification and sustainable construction practices
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites
