
Engineering Intern, Substation Communication Engineering Team

- Support engineering efforts on Capital Projects
- Help resolve remote device connectivity issues and other device troubleshooting
- Onboard and troubleshoot substation firewalls
- Update and maintain the engineering lab network and device configurations
- Support department automation efforts
- A current Sophomore or above (as of May 2026).
- Enrolled in an ABET accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to communicate effectively; both written and verbally
- Must be self- motivated, have good mechanical aptitude, and ability to work well with others
- Able to commute to the corporate office in Denver, C - hybrid schedule
- Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week)/ part time during the fall (up to 20 hours a week).
- Course work in power generation or project management.
- Interest in the power industry or industrial control systems
