We're continually pushing our own standards higher to deliver the safest, most efficient, and most reliable drilling solutions in the world.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst with a strong background in accounting to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards. This role will be responsible for performing financial analysis, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and overseeing various accounting functions.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monthly financial analysis, including but not limited to, actual to forecast variance and trend variances inclusive of gross margin review of third-party and IC sales, as well as operating margin review including other costs of sales.
  • Analysis and preparation of rolling forecasts and annual budgets dealing with multiple cost centers and locations.
  • Coordination and oversight responsibility for accurate revenue recognition.
  • Reporting KPIs to operations/management and ensuring understanding of metrics.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities related to projects, including accounts receivable, WIP, contract assets/liabilities, and reconciliation of these financial accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data by maintaining robust internal controls in compliance with SOX requirements and company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Continuously evaluate financial processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Implement best practices and streamline procedures to enhance the effectiveness of financial operations.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel competency
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely
  • Hyperion Financial Management and/or Oracle experience a plus
