- Verify insurance benefits and communicate coverage details to patients
- Collect deductibles and copayments at the time of service
- Process credit card payments and maintain accurate transaction records
- Conduct account research and respond to patient inquiries
- Establish financial arrangements according to hospital policy
- Maintain professional communication with patients, physicians, and internal staff
- Deliver exceptional customer service and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word with proficiency
- Experience in behavioral health settings
- Familiarity with HEA and AZ AHCCCS systems
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of experience in collections
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must qualify for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Full-time, 8-hour shifts
