This role requires expertise in U.S. regulatory requirements for Category 4 (or larger) banks, strong leadership capabilities, and knowledge of regulatory reporting platforms. This role will report into the Head of Capital & Liquidity Reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the review, signoff and timely submission of regulatory reports including FFIEC 031/041, FR Y-14 (Q/M), FR Y-9C/LP, FR Y-15. Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies (FRB, OCC, FDIC), managing examinations, audits, and inquiries.Provide thought leadership on regulatory trends and reporting risks. Advise senior management on compliance strategies and process improvement opportunities. Monitor regulatory changes and lead change management initiatives to ensure ongoing compliance.Build, develop and manage a high-performing team of regulatory reporting professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence. Oversee training plans and interpretation of regulatory requirements and memos.Partner with key stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Risk Management, IT, and Compliance to ensure regulatory reporting aligns of with business operations and strategic objectives.Education, Experience and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. CPA, CFA, or advanced degree (MBA, MS in Finance) preferred.Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in regulatory reporting within the banking or financial services industry.Extensive knowledge of U.S. regulatory reporting requirements and frameworks (e.g., Dodd-Frank, Basel III).Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high attention to detail and data accuracy.Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to senior management and regulators.Proficiency in regulatory reporting systems, data management tools, and advanced Excel. SQL or data analytics skills are a plus.The estimated base salary range for this position is $225,000 USD to $260,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
