Production Worker - Paint Line

• Load and unload products onto a moving overhead conveyor.
• Unpackage, inspect, and prep materials for processing.
• Read blueprints to determine racking placement and coverage zones.
• Repackage and prepare finished parts for outbound shipments.
• Conduct inline quality control checks and maintain documentation.
• Use power tools for prep and repair of defective materials.
• Maintain a clean work environment and support maintenance efforts.

• Prepare and stage shipments for customer pickup.
• Load and unload trucks; assist drivers as needed.
• Receive incoming materials from customers and suppliers.
• Manage incoming inventory of shop supplies and paint materials.

• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions regularly.

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives such as 5S, kaizen events, and documenting standard work procedures.

• High attention to detail and safety.
• Basic math, conversion, and computer skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
• Able to work at a fast pace on a moving production line.
• Willingness to be trained in forklift operation.

• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
• Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs., with occasional team lifts of up to 75 lbs.
• Visual acuity required for inspections (close, distance, color vision, depth perception).
