We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building projects,ensuring scope and support presales activities.
The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications that align with business objectives.Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic liaison between Cognizant service lines and client stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth collaboration across delivery streams.
- Drive pursuit of new opportunities by coordinating with business development teams and contributing to proposal creation and refinement.
- Manage delivery of build projects , ensuring scope, timelines, and quality standards are met across all workstreams.
- Proactively identify and manage conflicts across teams, facilitating resolution and maintaining delivery momentum.
- Oversee ongoing proposal efforts, ensuring timely submissions, quality content, and alignment with client expectations.
- Provide regular updates to leadership, track KPIs, and ensure risks and dependencies are actively monitored and mitigated.
- Experience in program or project management within large-scale IT delivery environments, preferably in manufacturing or life sciences domains.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts, and align diverse service lines toward common goals.
- Understanding and hands on experience with opportunity pursuits and proposal management, including coordination of pre-sales activities and solution shaping.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities to drive delivery, manage escalations, and ensure transparency across build-phase workstreams.
The annual salary for this position is $63,000 to $99,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
