- Provide functional support, system testing, Tier 1 technical support, and subject matter expertise for Oracle PeopleSoft based personnel security applications.
- Analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
- Analyze system requirements and leads design and development activities.
- Guide users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
- Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
- Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
- Develop technical documentation, system architecture and system design documentation.
- Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
- Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
- Have ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
- Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
- Bachelor's degree required in System Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
- 20+ years experience as a System engineer in projects of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience as a ITIL practitioner
- Experience developing design documentation
- Experience with Agile development methods, platforms and tools
- Experience developing technical requirements and specifications
