- Ensure timely and accurate food delivery from the kitchen to guests while maintaining proper plate presentation.
- Communicate effectively with servers, chefs, and kitchen staff to ensure correct food items are delivered to the appropriate tables.
- Assist servers in table maintenance, including clearing plates, refilling beverages, and resetting tables as needed.
- Provide detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and modifications to answer guest questions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all service areas, including food stations and expo lines.
- Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring all food handling procedures are followed.
- Support the expediting process by ensuring plates are prepared to chef’s standards before delivery.
- Assist in stocking and restocking service stations, ensuring all supplies are available during service.
- Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring guests receive their meals promptly and correctly.
- Other duties as assigned
- Previous experience as a food runner, busser, or in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, ensuring smooth collaboration between FOH and BOH staff.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize service needs in a high-end dining setting.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and navigate a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays, based on restaurant operations.
