Maintenance Department Clerk - Billing Assistant

- Communicate with vendors and subcontractors as a point of contact to solicit new jobs
- Execute clerical and general office duties such as setting up filing systems, data entry, typing, copying, ordering office supplies, and other administrative tasks for special projects as requested
- Respond to incoming emails and phone calls professionally
- Reconcile monthly supply accounts to make sure that all materials have been properly billed out
- Close out technician work orders with proper language and billing details for the invoices
- Support the Director of Maintenance and his Assistant with any overflow tasks to keep the department running smoothly
- High school diploma is required - additional college such as an associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree is very valuable
- Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills are needed
- Past administrative experience is necessary (3 years) - administrative duties for a busy construction office is beneficial
- Proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
