We do not support or transfer other visa types (e.g., H-1B).The candidate will perform Application Production Support activities as part of a Global organization. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring system stability, monitoring application performance, and facilitating smooth interactions between IT and the Derivatives business.Role and responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve application issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow escalation, incident, and problem management protocols.
- Work with internal teams to improve processes and boost application reliability.
- Manage the full lifecycle of specific projects when assigned.
- Share knowledge with the team to maintain 24/6 global follow-the-sun support.
- Liaise with other branches to strengthen teamwork and service quality.
- Provide out-of-hours or weekend support when required, sometimes on short notice.
- Create and maintain detailed incident/problem tickets, including all resolution steps.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Quantitative Finance.
- Knowledge of FIX and other order/rfq/trading protocols is mandatory
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in application production support to the business on a trading desk.
- Comfortable working on UNIX / Linux (Shell Scripting, etc.) and Windows environments (Powershell, Batch, etc).
- Experience working with relational and no-relational databases, good SQL skills
- Programming background in scripting language (TCL, Perl, Python, etc.)
- Deep understanding of the Agile and Continuous delivery (CI/CD, Jenkins, docker, kubernetes, etc)
- Experience and knowledge in ELK stack, RabbitMQ
- Support or DevOps experience across all stages (inception, analysis, design, runtime, maintenance, and support).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge on Capital Market and Investment Banking Activities is a plus
- The salary range for this role is US$70,000 - US$120,000
