OUR PURPOSEThe Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) is a not-for-profit membership organization that promotes the health of women and newborns. Our mission is to empower and support nurses caring for women, newborns, and their families through research, education, and advocacy.POSITION SUMMARYThe Product Sales Support Consultant (Temporary Position) will play a crucial role in supporting the education product sales team of AWHONN. This position will specifically support sales activities for our online education products. This role is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of the sales process. This role will be authorized to work up to 12 hours per week assisting the Director of Product Sales and Client Relations. The position is fully remote.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES1. Sales Assistance:o Respond promptly to inquiries from potential customers and existing clients regarding our online education products.o Provide detailed information about product features, pricing, and educational content to support the sales team.o Assist in the preparation and distribution of sales materials, scheduling of presentations, and pre-pay order invoices.2. Customer Service:o Maintain open lines of communication with customers, addressing their concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.o Facilitate the resolution of customer issues by liaising with relevant departments or team members.o Ensure accurate and up-to-date record-keeping of customer interactions and sales activities.3. Administrative Support:o Assist with the organization and maintenance of customer and prospect databases.o Coordinate and schedule sales meetings, webinars, and product demonstrations.o Prepare reports and metrics related to sales activities, as required.4. Cross-functional Collaboration:o Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.o Provide feedback and suggestions for improving sales processes and enhancing customer satisfaction.SUPERVISIONWorks independently under the guidance of the Director, Product Sales and Client Relations. Receives guidance on clarification and interpretation of policies of the organization.
