1st ShiftThe principle responsibilities and duties of this position are:Perform month-end and year-end closing duties which will include posting of journal entries, preparation of reserve accruals, and preparation of account reconciliations.Serve as primary support to the Finance team with the monthly financial statement consolidation and reporting package to ensure the timely and accurate issuance of financial information, meeting required deadlines.Assist in the preparation of various disclosure appendices for parent and group level reporting requirements.Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, globally, including tracking acquisitions, disposals, transfers, depreciation calculations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards while collaborating with various departments to properly capitalize assets and generate necessary reports for financial reporting.Manage various general ledger reconciliations on a monthly or quarterly basis.Coordinate annual statutory audits through preparation of work papers, audit report and supporting schedules, as well as fielding questions from external auditors.Assist in the development of the annual budget and forecasts.Support the Accounting Team with the maintenance and improvement of control systems, policies and procedures both locally and globally.Assist in the preparation and compliance of internal audit requests.Ad-hoc projects as requiredEssential Overall Duties:Continually seek improvement in every aspect of the position. Below is the preferred education and experience for this position:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinancePrevious experience (4-5 years) in a similar accounting and reporting roleCPA preferred, but not requiredB.
