The security and quality of our work depends on a Facility and Asset Manager joining our team will be the focal point to manage and maintain a client program facility in Northern Virginia. This includes maintaining the facility’s readiness to perform all contract related services, administrative and management functions, hardware, software, and communication systems necessary to interface effectively and efficiently with the Department of State (DOS). Manage any site changes, installation of electrical outlets, terminal cabling, air conditioning or other equipment or conditions that may be necessary to ensure correct connection and usability of necessary peripherals and/or computers used in connection with the performance of contract work.HOW A FACILITY AND ASSET MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACTSupports the PM in maintaining all aspects of the readiness and security of a contractor leased facility that serves as the primary place of performance for a secure government contractEnsures the appropriate safeguarding and destruction capabilities for Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU) information must be maintained in compliance with Department of State standards, policies and proceduresEnsures that access to the facility shall have appropriate controls such as (at a minimum) keyed dead bolt locks to control access during non-working hours in accordance with DOS policy and guidelinesEnsures computer peripherals and resources are used effectively. Coordinate the resolution of production-related problems.Manage Department of State (DOS) Personal Identification Card Policy and Procedures for all employees performing under this contract who require frequent and continuing access to DOS facilities, or information systemsManages the availability all the necessary computer resources, spares, data storage, peripherals, telecommunication and data communication equipment, and necessary supplies schedule, coordinate and arrange all logistical issues associated with carrying out the transferring of RPC equipment to other designated locationsWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Required:Education: High School Diploma/GED + 10 years of related facility, asset management, and logistics experience ORBachelor’s degree in Management, Administration, Information Technology, Logistics or related Technical Discipline + 3 years of related facility, administrative and logistics experienceExcellent client facing and internal communications skillsSolid organizational skills including attention to details and multi-tasking skillsDesired:Experience supporting the DOS and familiarity with DOS security requirements.Location:Rosslyn, VA.Timeline:This posting is contingent, expected to start in May of 2024.Clearance:Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
