- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 2+ years of work-related experience in a marketing/communications role.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft straightforward, concise, and compelling content.
- Strong people / influencing skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital advertising principles.
- Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., MailChimp, Constant Contact).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Passion for staying updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing and communication.
- Strong personal computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of the Securities Industry and/or Financial Planning
- Experience in building and maintaining SharePoint sites and libraries.
- Content Management and Distribution: Working with content creators, 3rd party resources, and annual marketing strategies, ensuring timely and finished content and distribution, including blog posts, social media updates, newsletters, and client communications.
- Internal Communication Management: Assist with the creation and maintenance of internal communication processes, including submission, review, approval, and distribution. It also includes oversight of Prosperity Portal communications.
- Social Media Management: Manage and maintain our social media profiles, including creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Email Marketing: Execute email marketing campaigns, including gathering and finalizing email content, segmenting lists, and tracking campaign results.
- Website Management: Assist with maintaining the company website(s) with fresh and relevant content, ensuring it reflects the latest news and promotions.
- Marketing Analytics: Monitor and analyze marketing and communication data to assess the effectiveness of communications and campaigns and provide actionable insights for improvement.
- Event Support: Assist in planning and executing marketing events, including webinars, conferences, and other related events. This includes internal team member events.
- Graphic Design: Working with team and approved sources, create and maintain visually appealing marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, infographics, and social media graphics.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure consistent branding across all marketing and communication materials, including adherence to style guides.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive insights, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies.
- Marketing & Communications Library: Assist in creating and managing marketing and communications-related resources, correspondences, and templates for reference and use in the company.
- Manage Across Multiple Projects and Departments: Ability to project manage/work with others to create content, receive feedback, participate, etc.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing and communication initiatives.
