Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.The Raytheon Industry 4.0 – Connected Factory Intelligence & Automation organization has an immediate career-growth opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and innovative Project Manager to lead automation projects in our Effectors facilities (Tucson, AZ; Huntsville, AL; Camden, AR; among others). The Project Management Excellence department is responsible for the development and deployment of manufacturing automation & digital solutions to maximize the operational efficiency of our factory and program customers. The core responsibilities of this role are to lead cross-functional teams in development and improvement of automation and infrastructure that supports factory operations – sensors, machine integration, custom software applications, commercial software platforms.What You Will Do
  • Directly manage high-impact, cross-functional projects
  • Develop and implement strategic project management plans
  • Expected to Travel domestically up to 20% of the time

  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, executives, and development teams.
  • Skill in negotiating trade-offs and priorities between competing demands.
  • Decision-Making: Making informed decisions under pressure and with limited information.
  • Financial Management: Gaining expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or business-related field (STEM preferred) with minimum of 8+ years relevant professional experience
  • Experience using project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, scheduling, manage R&Os, and lead cross-functional teams to successful project completion.
  • Experience developing business cases and Return on Investment (ROI) analyses
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Raytheon Project Management level 6 certification and/or PMP certification
  • Experience managing budgets including EV techniques
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Product management tools (Azure DevOps, MS Project)
  • Knowledge of transition to production of software products, automation systems or similar
  • Experience with Capital funding
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of Effectors business sector, have established relationships with leaders, and be familiar with the product lines, customer base, and manufacturing operations.
