Come and experience your future!This position is responsible for the development of reliability and Integrated Logistics System (ILS) solutions for aviation training products. These systems include full flight cockpit simulators, desktop trainers, classrooms and augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) systems. Typical tasks include: Analysis of system reliability and sparing requirements, analysis of failure data to identify trends, part obsolescence management, lifecycle cost (LCC) analysis and logistics support analysis.
Several components of our products are produced by subcontractors, so the successful candidate will need to apply their knowledge and expertise to review subcontractor analysis and verify their submissions are accurate and complete.The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills that enable them to manage multiple programs with various analysis need dates. A strong ability to prioritize and logically communicate status and risks are important skills for this position. The selected candidate will have the capacity to multi-task and be willing to learn new skills to broaden their skill set within the Specialty Engineering domain.Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Experience performing reliability analysis
- Ability to obtain a Secret ClearanceDesired skills- 5 or more years of professional experience in reliability, logistics engineering, or related field
- Experience performing sparing and availability analysis
- Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends and failure rates
- Strong teamwork skills, willingness to work as part of a dynamic team environment
- Experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) customers
