- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatment to patients in accordance with established protocols.
- Accurately position the beam of radiation and deliver the prescribed dose to correspond with the designated treatment plan.
- Assist the radiation therapy department with patient care, patient treatment delivery, patient treatment records, radiation safety and quality assurance functions.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance throughout the treatment process.
- Operate and maintain radiation equipment to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, dosimetry, physics and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely treatment.
- Proficient in the use of radiation therapy equipment and software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and excel in a float position, providing coverage across various locations as needed.
- Dedication to patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program
- Must hold a current:
- Washington: National ARRT certification and current WA license for Radiation Therapy
- Idaho: National ARRT certification
- Must have valid CPR
