- Assist in the preparation of patients for examinations by taking vital signs and documenting medical histories.
- Support physicians during procedures by ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are readily available.
- Float between clinic locations as needed, adapting to different team dynamics and needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with compliance standards.
- Manage appointment scheduling and assist with patient communication effectively and courteously.
- Educate patients on treatment plans and skincare, ensuring they understand post-procedure care.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of clinical spaces, ensuring they meet infection control standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or dermatology setting is required.
- Ability to travel between different clinic locations as needed.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, particularly in dermatology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
- Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and familiarity with office software applications.
